What to expect

  • What should I expect at my first session?

My goal for the first session is to get to know you. I do this by asking questions about you, your background, the people in your life, what brings you to therapy, and what your goals for therapy may be. I will take the time to listen and genuinely get to know you. During the last fifteen minutes I will check in to see how you are feeling about the first session. I take this time to explore if we are a good fit and what to expect moving forward.

I will collect payment at the end of the first session. Your payment method will be stored securely and used for further sessions with your permission.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I currently do not accept insurance and I understand that this can be an inconvenience for some. I prefer that my clients have greater control and privacy that can be provided with private pay. I can provide you with a a super bill that you submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Unfortunately, reimbursement is not guaranteed as I am an out of network provider. Consult with your insurance provider about your out of network mental health benefits.

I currently accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA accounts.
All forms of therapy are $130 for a 50 minute session and $165 for an 80 minute session.

  • What if we aren't the right fit?

This happens. It could be scheduling, fees, or there may be another therapist or organization that can better fit with your goals. If we find that I am not the right fit for you, I would love to help you find someone who is. I want what is best for YOU and will take the time to explore what that is.

  • What is your cancelation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you do it at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session. If you cancel within 24 hours of a session, the full session fee will be charged.
